"OPEN YOUR EYES"

I believe we are all on a personal journey. An individual experience that we all share. Historians and philosophers, have bantered about "the meaning of life", throughout human history. Each generation forms a composite of "what it all means". The  philosophies are significantly personalized.  That is where I speak from ;my personal view. I approach each day as if it were my last. Because it could be... I evaded death 6 years ago on Easter. I had a stroke. Left-sided impairment (required a walker for a year) Speech impairment. I had to relearn to speak .It was a bit of a tough road back . I am blessed that I recovered so well. My left - sided weakness is minimal now. Again, I am blessed ,as I know of many who stroked and have been left with great deficits ~ it is they who have greater courage than I~ I do have some occasional difficulty with my memory but have learned to work  with & around this issue the best I can Now, where was I ? *HA * KIDDING* Regardless, of ones faith or belief, we are all Human, Energy, and Spirit. I know and feel this  in my soul. I do not believe in coincidences. I believe everything happens for a reason. At times, the reason may become clear to us. Other times, we are not consciously aware of a moments significance.I feel we all must "open our eyes & heart" to life as it occurs .Stay in the moment always. As this feeling of connectedness washes over me,each moment seems more significant.. These are my personal thoughts and feelings. I have no idea what Lee DeWyze was feeling when he wrote the song "Open Your Eyes".... The lyrics resonate deeply and personally with me. "...gotta see the truth to see the lies..." The 'truth', to me, is the comprehension that we are all so much more than human . We are spirit...we are connected... The 'lies' ,to me, are the facades & negative energies around us.
