NO HATE !!! - APPRECIATE!!!

Almost a year ago, American Idol #9 came to an end.The competition also ended.  As with all competitions, there is someone declared a winner.This does not imply that everyone else is a loser.Such is life.I was quite enthralled with the musical ability & style of both Lee DeWyze & Crystal Bowersox. I am Canadian so was unable to vote. Only cheer from home. At the end of the competition, I personally felt that LEE & Crystal led the pack. When Lee was announced American Idol, I was only slightly surprised.As both had proven their skill, ability and talent.For those of you who have been reading my blog, you  will realize  that Crystal was my inspiration for writing this blog.I gravitated to her style because she was different. However, I really appreciated Lee. I have always been a 'folkie'. Lee is quite a fan of 'folk music',Such as Simon & Garfunkel(whom I love). Both Lee and Crystal write and sing songs of great emotion.I became more familiarized with everything Crystal. With time, and the association with someone very appreciative of Lee music, I became a fan of Lee's. Hearing him perform live ,via vids ,reminded me of his passion for music.Crystal is a big-hearted, compassionate and considerate woman. NEVER have I EVER heard her say ANYTHING negative about Lee.Crystal only speaks well of Lee and considers him a friend.Crystal has her career . Lee has his career. Both have many fans worldwide. Lee just finished performances in Asia. He was WELL received.Crystal always responds to negativity with graciousness.A part of her character I greatly admire.I do not understand how some people can claim to LOVE Crystal & what she stands for , while bad-mouthing Lee. REMINDER: The competition is over. Get over it. NO HATE!!! APPRECIATE!!!.Of course, everyone has their own musical taste.It is not necessary to demean one while glorifying another.This is something I learned as a child. It remains true today.If you have nothing good to say about another, say nothing.As 'mature adults' we often try to teach children to be considerate of others.Is it not the "I am better than you attitude" which starts war.Come on people. Try LOVE. Listen to Lee & Crystal sing "Falling Slowly". They compliment each other. They are individual artists. They both RAWK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
